The Interact club of Neath Port Talbot College, Afan Campus, were our hosts tonight. We were there to help with the presentation of their Charter, an event that was delayed from last year, and they put on a really good show. They had prepared some items for sale, organised a raffle with some spectacular floral displays and acted as very good hosts. The neighbouring Interact club from Duffryn School were there as visitors and they announced that they had raised £700 for TfL, a superb effort. We had a welcome from the outgoing IP, Laura, an address by Deputy Principal Rob F, a talk introducing their charities by Alice and Georgia, the story so far by Rhys, a financial report by Matthew, greetings from Rotary Club President John C, the objects of Interact read by Gwenda G, presentation of the Charter Certificate by me, presentation of a hand crafted bell by Idris R and thanks offered by Matthew and Laura. This was followed by light refreshments and the raffle draw which even produced an entertaining auction of left over goods. Overall a really good evening and it was so good to see the dedication of the members and the support of the College staff together with the local Rotary club of Port Talbot.
