23rd May - District Assembly

Donna's launch pad was the District Assembly held at the Swansea Metropolitan University. A hot sunny day with some people on the beach at 0830hrs, as we arrived in the City. Everything went to plan and Donna did a great job in spelling out her ideas and plans. Derek from my club gave a presentation on what the four clubs in Newport did for Thanks for Life and Geoff from Swansea Valley outlined what his club did. I spent most of the breakout sessions with Foundation. We were fearful that the turnout would be low but it ended up with over 270 present. Well done Donna and her team.
