30th March - Cardiff Breakfast's Open Evening

An opportunity to spend some time with President Edwin and the members of the Cardiff Breakfast club and also to learn some of the intricacies of bee keeping. The speaker tonight was Prof Rob Pritchard who spoke about his passion for bees and their highly sophisticated and organised collaborative society. Apparently female led societies, like bees, are naturally collaborative whereas male dominated societies, like the humans, are not. He has a theory that the massive growth in micro-electronic communications is providing an enormous extension to our collective brains and that this will move our society closer to that of the bees. Interesting heady stuff, but a thoroughly enjoyable evening. Well done President Edwin and the club.
