18th February - Senedd Display Run-Through

Thanks to a local Scout Group I was able to borrow a set of display boards, which I picked up on Monday. Three large bags just about fitted into the boot of the car and one of them was particularly heavy. These are destined to be used at the Rotary Showcase to be held at the Senedd on 23/2/10. Today Bob W brought over the posters and pictures he had prepared so that we could see how to put the boards together and how best to lay out the display. We played around with different board layouts and display layouts, and it twas a good job we did this in advance of the Showcase. It took us over 2 hours to come to a satisfactory arrangement and we only used about two thirds of the boards available. Fortunately I had a quantity of velcro stickers which made setting out the display much easier. At the end we were both pleased with the result.
