We were privileged to be part of the 50th anniversary celebrations of the Abercarn & Newbridge club. The pictures tell the story. RIBI President David was the main speaker and I had the honour of handing over a letter and a certificate of commemoration to President Len from RI President John. A super night of reminiscence with a focus on two charities, the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal and Cancer Research Wales. A number of neighbouring clubs were present along with local MP Don, who we were sat next to, together with DGE Donna and AG Keith. David and Marion were there from the Newport club.
