26 - Official Visit Llanelli 31/7/09
The Llanelli club manage to fit a three course meal into their lunch hour together with the usual business of the club, so making an Official Visit and getting the address done is quite a challenge. They have a number of working Rotarians who need to be away sharp at 1400hrs. With the advice of President Paul I got going before the sweet was served and competed well with the dodging staff and the happy vocals from the other guests of the hotel enjoying lunch in the adjoining room. Fast and furious was the order of the day and that is how it was. PDG John was very kind with his vote of thanks and in the end it all seemed to go down well. They even had a visitor from South Wellington, New Zealand, who had missed his own DG visit and would now be able to tell his club that he caught up in Llanelli. The pictures show me with President Paul and Paul with his Kiwi visitor.
