25 - Official Visit Crickhowell 30/7/09
Thursday 25th July and this evening its the turn of Crickhowell to have an Official Visit. We had a wonderful evening of fun and fellowship well mixed in with the usual Rotary meeting format. Here you see us with President Mike and Secretary Brian after some interesting discussions on the Thanks for Life project. This is AG Rob's club and I was able to pass on his theme tie and an End Polio Now badge. He really liked the tie, chosen by Edwina and the other lasses in San Diego, and asked if the club could buy some more but sadly the online shop is sold out. As he said later, they will just have to drool over the one I have.

Oh whoops! Not all the District Governor spouses are wives. Some are consorts. The female spouses were able to cross-check with the male spouses whether the tie was acceptable. Result: the perfect District Officer tie!! See the benefits of dual gender? ;-)
