Split and Diocletian's Palace

On our final day the weather was fine and we took the bus to Split to see Diocletian's Palace. It is a massive Roman Palace that has been occupied and muck knocked about by the residents of Split. Having said that there is still a lot of Roman remains left to see, as you can see from the pictures. Oh, and be careful where you park your car in Split, they take a dim and violent view of offenders.

Back home now having re-charged the batteries in readiness for 1st July.
