The Whitchurch Interact Club, sponsored by the Cardiff Breakfast Club, won two awards at this year's RIBI Conference. The first was The Interact/Rotaract award as part of "Ordinary Rotarians doing Extraordinary Things", and here you see our two representatives on stage being interviewed by John Minhinick after the video of their overseas project in Belarus had been shown. The second was for the best Interact Project Award and here you see the Shield being held by President Michael Brookes with the Certificate held proudly by one of the Interactors. In the hustle and bustle of the conference I did not get a chance to speak to the two youngsters and I did not get their names (help!!). I am sure that DG Clayton and DGN Donna, who is also leading Youth Opportunities this year, are both extremely proud and delighted with the receipt of these awards. You can see that Michael is.
