A fine day and a planned trip to Cornwall - a town one and a half hours north towards Montreal - for the local District Handover. We stopped off for lunch on the way before arriving at the location for the Handover, a Canadian Airforce Association facility right next to the St Lawrence Seaway.
The views were stunning yet again and we could see the crossing to the US and the First Nation Island Reserve, which apparently does cause some local difficulties. The usual format for the Handover followed.
We were to lose another house guest here as she was handed over to another Rotarian. Then it was back to Howe Island for some domesticity, sharing of photos and an early night. Also checked out the strike situation and found that they had settled so I would call Via in the morning to shift our booking back to the original one.
