Another great day out for children less fortunate than most at Barry Island. We had about 700 children on the beach and they were entertained by a variety of elements. There was a clown or two, Punch & Judy, face painting, bouncy castle, balloon art, a disco, plus all the usual attractions. Rotarians from a number of clubs in greater Gwent were there with their charges, who had a range of disabilities. There was even a sand castle competition and a School sign competition. This is one of the best projects we cover and the results are there to be seen on the faces of the children.
