This weekend we were at the RIBI Conference in Bournemouth. Attendance was down this year with just over 1800 delegates but the House of Friendship was well up to standard with a wide range of stands and exhibits. Once again the Cwmbran Vale club were there selling Christmas puddings for mines clearance. We had Carl Jones from the Swansea Valley club performing in the "Rotary's Got Talent' competition, where he came third and we also had a PP presentation, made by Cwmtawe Community School following their involvement with Thanks for Life with the Swansea Valley club, shown at the end of the Conference. An extremely enjoyable and informative weekend with lots of opportunities to meet up with old friends.
