A wonderful celebration for the Narberth & Whitland club at their 44th Charter Evening. Their speaker was a pupil at Dyffryn Taf School who, as a member of the Wales debating team, successfully qualified as one of the 57 nations that went forward to the International Debating Competition in Qatar, where the Welsh team reached the semi-finals. She recounted her story with maturity and style, captivating those present. I was also delighted to hear that the club had raised £800 for the Gates challenge at a Welsh Night held on St David's Day. Good food and good company made this a very enjoyable evening.
