30th January - Short Family Walk in Mr & Mrs Mike's Manor

Lunchtime today we met up with Eleanor and Toby for a short walk in the Manor of Mr & Mrs Mike P. There are those who think that a Civil War battle took place here and on the other hand there are those who do not - blooming two handed historians. Anyway, we strode over the fields behind the Museum along the St Fagan's Circular Walk. Good job it was frosty because if it hadn't been we would have been up to our knees in mud. Eleanor was tour guide and you can see the quality of her leadership and confidence in the picture -  we were actually heading to the left of the camera position and yes, this is where the two crossed swords are located. Lunch was planned for the Plymouth Arms but they were full so we went to the Coach & Horses in Peterston where Alan also joined us for a relaxing late lunch.
