The Recruitment Campaign is almost upon us and this meeting was to put the final pieces into place so that we can land running in January 2010. Well, I think that we have done just that. In a week or so we will have the shortlist for the Hosts sorted, with training scheduled for the first week in January. We have the venue for our Open Evening identified and this should be finalised by the end of this week. Press releases are being put together and we will be attempting to pull in some contacts with the local media. We now wait with baited breath to see if the campaign will deliver what we are expecting.
I also took the opportunity to present a certificate of gratitude from the Health & Hunger Resource Group of RI, recognising the efforts of the Brynmawr club in a Health & Hunger Project, to make the world a better place.
I presented the certificate to DGE Donna, so that she in turn could present it to President Christine.
