Maggie, from the Cardiff Breakfast club, invited us, together with Donna and Steve, to a special performance of Mal Pope's latest venture into musicals, called 'Cappuccino Girls'. This was a fund raising event for Cancer Research Wales, the charity Maggie works for, and one that has long had the support of clubs in the District. President Gerry from Rotary Club of Cardiff Bay was there to hand over a cheque for £500. The show was fine, the company was great and we met some very interesting people, including Mal plus the Charity's Chair along with the High Sheriff for South Glamorgan.
