AG Ken invited me to join the GSE team on a trip up and down the Thames at Windsor, on John's first investment to become a shipping magnate, the MV Elusive Truth. The day started fine but it rained in the afternoon. However the team managed to make a quick tour of Windsor Castle and the town. Here you see the boat and also the Eton School rowing centre, which will also be the rowing centre for the 2012 Olympics. On the way home a stop at Membury Services gave the team a cultural view of young life as a bus load of Cardiff University Students wearing nothing but pink tootoos invaded the restaurant. A great day out and the first group of folks I have met who were excited by rain.
