My club entertained the GSE team from D9500 this morning and for lunch. First trip was to the Newport Ship where they saw the restoration work in progress and also had an historical briefing by Past President Charles - who showed us later that he did have other clothing apart from the medieval garb he is wearing. Then on to have a drive past Tredegar House and a short visit to the Transporter Bridge before arriving the the Newport Lodge for lunch. They left us at 1400hrs to go off to Big Pit.
