Election of 2012 - 2013 District Governor 15/10/09

We met at Alan's house at 10:30 am where Colin and Alan proceeded with the count for the ballot to select the DG for 2012/13. David W was also there, as one of the candidates, to witness the count. This time there were three candidates and the count proceeded. It turned out to be a close affair and David W came out as the one with the highest number of votes. He will be our DG in 2012/2013. The other two candidates did not come to the count, so I had to telephone them with the bad news. Our congratulations to David.
